Ballet is a classical dance form. Ballet is one of the most important classes in a dancers training, as it is the foundation for all other dance forms.
Jazz dance is a social dance style that emerged at the turn of the 20th century when African American dancers began blending traditional African steps with European styles of movement.
This form of dance is most often seen in contemporary music shows, like Cirque du Soleil and the television show “So You Think You Can Dance”.
Tap dance is a dance performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the toes and heels.
Hip Hop Dance is a style of movement characterized by bounces and rocks executed to Hip Hop music.
Perfect for the younger student, this class is designed as an introduction to dance. The class will explore movement through music, stimulate students’ imagination and promote creativity.
Creative Movement classes introduce a structured environment while allowing children to recognize their own individuality and body mobility.
